TIVOLI GARDENS
On Friday night a few of us went out to dinner at a place called RizRaz that served a relatively cheap Mediterranean buffet that was DELICIOUS! Then we went to Tivoli Gardens that is right in the center of Copenhagen.
Tivoli was built in the early 1840's and is currently the second oldest running amusement park in the world. It had some really fun rides, beautiful scenery and great food.
On Friday nights in Tivoli there is free concerts. The band was pretty good, but they sang in Danish so we didn't really know what they were singing about.

Basically, Tivoli was a lot of fun and we were glad we went. I hope that this post will hold you over for now.

Wow!!! I knew you were OK, glad to see better then ever!! Pictures were cool...where is our language lesson?? It is good to hear from you though, keep in mind your thousands of miles away....parents, as i now realize all to well, want to know where their kids are and if there OK even when they are around the block. :)But this to my sisters, Kelly is a strong willed(as noticed by her comments), highly intelligent and have no doubt that she will be fine...so as Kelly says chill out;) Install Skype and chat with her frequently.
Love You
Unce John
First off -- it was your father (Talooli dad) who was being the pain in the butt - not me. I, like your Auntie Jill, like living vicariously through your experiences, so we are anxious - not worried. As for your post - Tivoli Gardens looks beautiful and I'm glad that you went. Just got home, so I will try to skype tomorrow.......and of course I will wait with baited breath for the IKEA post. Love you - Mom (aka janmp)
So, I've been looking over your father's shoulder as he types a fantasy story -- oh no -- that's really a post to you. Just remember, you can't believe everything he posts! HaHaHaHa oh my goodness, I have tears in my eyes. He is trying to post an obnoxious note and he can't remember his password............
Give me a break!
Your mother is a liar!
Your mother made me bug you about sending new posts. In between uncontrolled, tearful hysterics she would wail about missing you and not knowing what you were doing, blah, blah, blah....
And what do you mean the band sang in Danish??
Anyway, now let me tell you about my fun weekend. First Andy and I stayed up until 1am on Friday night to finish the 3 minute Camp Talooli summary video that is now posted on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d1_pYn-SvY
Check it out.
Then I had a romantic "get-a-way" weekend with your mother. We stayed at the Big Moose Inn and then took the Sunday Brunch tour of Raquette Lake aboard the W.W.Durant. The weather was cool and beautiful, your mother was hot.
love,
Dad
